I was released from Prison in 2015 and I had been linked in with a drug treatment centre. It was through that centre that I heard about the Prisoner Support Network. They were all very supportive and understanding as many had experienced prison themselves so they knew what I was going through. They linked me in with other services and I am glad to say that I have never been back to prison since.

I had been in and out of prison a few times over the years. I didn't know anything about the P.S.N. until my last sentence. They have helped me and my family get some great supports and hopefully that will be my last time ever in prison.

I would just say to anyone in prison or if your family member is in prison then get in touch with these guys. They help so much to link you to any help you need and with ex-prisoners involved they know what it is like going in and getting out.

It was through the P.S.N. that I realised that there are actually loads of jobs available for ex-prisoners after release. I never thought I would get a job and now I am working full-time and saving to buy a house with my girlfriend and children. I feel very proud of myself.
